QuakeWorld Ladder Tournament
Tournament system
A 4on4 ladder system using Rankade's ree-system. Read more about Ree here: https://rankade.com/ree. Clans can join the ladder at any time, even in the middle of the season and can start playing right away.
Clans have to create an account (a single account per clan, not per player) at https://rankade.com and join the QuakeWorld Ladder Tournament at https://rankade.com/quakeworld-ladder-tournament.
Each map is reported separately as a "game" in Rankade. Because of this it's possible for a team with high Ree score to actually lose points when beating weaker teams 2-1 (dropping a map). This hopefully encourages weaker teams to play stronger opponents and try to steal a map from them.
Teams can play each other as often and as many times as they want and/or can.
A player can play only for one clan at a time.
The maximum number of players in a clan is six(6).
Map pool: cmt1b, cmt3, cmt4, schloss, ukpak2
Format: bo3
Map picks: team1 drop, team2 drop, team1 pick, team2 pick, decider. The team with the lower Ree score decides who drops first. In case of a tie use cmd rnd to decide who drops first.
Reporting matches
1) Add frags as points
2) Make sure the winning team is higher (with the trophy) when reporting the game
3) Add a link to screenshot in match notes
Allowed clients
Ezquake with smackdown or quakecon ruleset. Fodquake with eql ruleset. FTE?

Playing in more than one team, or playing under someone else's name in another team (mercing)
Servers and settings
Server Settings
Timelimit: 20 minutes
Overtime: 5 minutes if match is a draw
Deathmatch mode: 1
Teamplay mode: 2
Spawn mode: Either KTX/KTX2 Respawns or KTPro Spawn is to be selected
Powerups: ON
Discharge: ON
FPS: A max of 77 fps is allowed.
KFjump: Toggled OFF (command = tkfjump)
Airstep: OFF
Jawnmode: OFF
Antilag (or equivalent): ON (unless both teams agree to play without it.)
Fallbunny: ON (if server allows)
These should be the basic 4on4 settings on all modern servers, but make sure to check.
Ping
Try to be reasonable and civilized. If you really can't find a server to play your game, you really don't have to.
Spectators
If a team requests nospecs-mode, the other team are obliged to comply.
Server problems
The current map should be played to the end, no mather the servers condition
Admins will decide if a map should be replayed on another server
If a server gives 2 or more spikes that result in 100% packetloss for all players for more that 10seconds, the map should be replayed on another server if the teams does not agree to the score/situation.
These rules are based on EQL rules and admins can change/fix rules if problems occur.
