5 man bingo with Trevor, Phil, Eric, Grant, and Bradley. After bitching about MMR mere hours earlier, Grant got his first win.
We started with Nidoran (male). Route 1 was tough with Tauros, who mostly outsped us, as the 70% pokemon. Trevor had a few quick blackouts that brought him to the poverty level.
There was an abundance of decent pokemon to start with (including a forest mew). The boys chose the following as their starters:
Grant- Pidgeot
Phil- Victreebell
Trevor- Victreebell
Bradley- Mew
Eric- Victreebell
a few of the early pokemon (Pidgeot, Electrode, Gastly) had a high crit hit move, and there was a ghost pokemon in forest and on the bottom floor of moon.
Grant, Trevor, and Bradley completed the same bingo with Phil and Eric each doing 2 different ones (all did column 1 which consisted of:
defeat all 8 trainers on route 3, any pokemon with a high critical hit move, defeat all 17 trainers inside pokemon tower, any lvl 50 pokemon, and ghost-type pokemon).
In a moment of suspence, Bradley marked his bingo then walked his dog, picked up his dry cleaning, and learned mandarin before finally verifying.
